Bækkelagets Sports Club and The Norwegian Ski Federation are pleased to invite you to two telemark races at Varingskollen ski area.

How to get to Varingskollen
Varingskollen Alpinsenter is located in Hakadal, only 30 minutes from the centre of Oslo. (Google Maps).
You can get there by car or by train. Varingskollen train station is only 50 meters from the slopes.
They have 6 alpine slopes and 2 terrain parks. (Ski maps).
The map shows Varingskollen and Ål ski resort, for WC the week after.

Thursday Feb 8 - Self-organised training (lifts run 16:00 - 21:00)
Friday Feb 9 - Training in the slope, lifts run 16:00 - 21:00
Our race slope Olaløypa will be open for anyone participating in the races. (Hopefully possible to train with jump and loom).
Saturday Feb 10 - Sprint race
Sunday Feb 11 - Parallel Sprint race
Start fee & registration
Participation registration and payment for international athletes
Starting fee EUR 25,- per person per race.

In FIS races athletes represent their sportsclub.
Racers younger than junior (age 8-16) are welcome and masters/veterans.

Lift Tickets/Ski pass
A ski pass discount will be provided later. Each team/athlete will buy their own passes online. ‘Promo code’ to come later.

Slopename Olaløypa slope 5
Bib distribution and Team captains meeting: At the end of slope by P1 parking
area
Slope to race: Slope nr 5, course marked green. First red line is start Sprint, second red line is start Parallel.
Inside area: Red arrow marked Toppstua hut can be used and shared with other visitors, they serve light snacks.
Food: Toppstua hut serves sausages and waffles. Snøtunet - café has both hot and
cold menu. Located by the lift start. More info here
Parking: Use P1 close to the arena, slide down to the lift to pick up your ski card.
TeleKidz / Skisprell: Marked purple on the cross-country ski stadium.

Sadly, we have not been able to oranize a ski-room. Maybe your accomodation can help you directly.
